About the Author
Dr. Lowell Dingus is a Research Associate in Paleontology at the American Museum of Natural History and has participated in many expeditions. His books include Hell Creek, Montana: America's Key to the Prehistoric Past (St. Martins Press, 2004) and Discovering Dinosaurs (Knopf, 1995), which received the Scientific Americans Young Readers Book Award.
